National Insurance contributions add 8% on earnings between £12,570 and £50,270, and 2% above. Remittance Basis (Non-Domiciled Status)
Non-domiciled UK residents may elect to pay UK tax only on UK-source income and on foreign income remitted to the UK. This has been significantly restricted since April 2025 — the non-dom regime is being phased out and replaced with a 4-year foreign income exemption for new UK tax residents. This calculator covers employment income on normal domicile rules.
